History

Western House Hotel at Ayr Racecourse is a four star hotel just
minutes from the centre of Ayr.
Built in 1920, within the grounds of Ayr Racecourse, the top
racecourse in Scotland, it was formerly the home of the Clerk of
the Course before becoming the headquarters of the Western Meeting
Club.
In 2003 the Racecourse was taken over and Western House was
restored and refurbished in 2005.
