Kitchen Porter Job Vacancy Home / Kitchen Porter We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter at Western House Hotel & Ayr Racecourse, to work in our kitchen assisting our Chefs in offering a top class service for our guests. TO APPLY About the role of Kitchen Porter: Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible. Collect and wash up pots and pans. Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery. Unload food and equipment deliveries. Keep the storeroom organised. Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised. You MUST be reliable and able to have transport to work at sometimes unsocial hours (earliest start 7am, late finishes sometimes midnight/1am). This role would also be suitable for a student who wishes to progress in a quality, hospitality environment – shifts can be suited around your studies.
